Amplifier & Carrier Cut Off Dates
Bulk Order Screen Printing
In order for items to be completed and in inventory prior to Peak Season, ScreenPrint Orders must be Approved for Production by November 5th. That means you have approved the job configuration and paid for the order. All screen print jobs will be completed prior to November 18. There will be no screen printing activity between Monday November 26 and Friday November 30.
Non-Compliant Delivery Cut Off: 5pm, Friday, October 19, 2018
Compliant Delivery Cut Off: 5pm, Friday, November 2, 2018.
For Client Inventory to be eligible for fulfillment during Peak Season (November 26 - December 23), it must be delivered in a compliant state to Amplifier’s receiving dock by 5pm CT Friday, November 2, 2018. If your vendor cannot supply inventory in a compliant state, the inventory must be delivered no later than 5pm CT, Friday, October 19, 2018. October and November are peak receiving times, and receiving events may take longer than normal. All inventory that arrives by the above dates will be received into inventory no later than end of day, November 17, 2018.
Inventory arriving after October 19/November 2, but before November 18, will be processed only after all on-time arrivals are complete. Amplifier will make best effort to process late arrivals, but no inbound inventory will be processed between November 18, 2018 and December 26, 2018. Inventory arriving after receiving cut off dates may not begin to be processed until December 26, 2018.
Make Ready & Kitting
Some Receipts will contain items that require Make Ready. Receipts with those items should arrive at least 5 business days prior to the Receiving Cut Off dates. October and November are typically experience peak activity for Amplifier’s Value Added Service (VAS) Area and jobs can take longer than 5 days, so please confirm with email@example.com for current job throughput timing.
Some Receipts will contain Items for Kitting jobs. Remember that all components must be Received by Amplifier prior to VAS beginning the job. All components must arrive at least 5 days prior to the Receiving Cut Off dates. October and November are typically experience peak activity for Amplifier’s VAS Area and jobs can take longer than 5 days, so please confirm with firstname.lastname@example.org for current job throughput timing. All Make Ready & Kitting inventory that arrives prior to cut-off dates will be be completed by end of day, November 17, 2018.
Make Ready & Kitting Jobs which have items arriving after cut-off dates will be processed only after all on-time arrivals are complete. Amplifier will make best effort to process late arrivals, but no Make Ready or Kitting Jobs will be processed between November 18, 2018 and December 26, 2018. Make Ready & Kitting Jobs with inventory arriving after Cut Off Dates may not begin to be processed until after December 26, 2018.
On Demand Manufacturing
Items being made On Demand by Amplifier must be ordered 5 business days prior to the related shipment cut-off in order to arrive on or before 12/24. For example: Domestic Standard cut-off for orders with an On Demand item is 12/5.
Fulfillment times during Peak Season
Peak Season dates include Thanksgiving Week and the week following, Mondays during December, December 12-25th and New Year’s Eve. During Peak Season dates Amplifier will make a best effort to maintain our shipping service level of shipping all in-stock items the day following order arrival. However, we cannot offer service level guarantees due to unforeseeable spikes in Client shipping volume. Processing times can sometimes be 3 to 5 days following shipment creation.
Promotion type effects fulfillment timing: it takes longer to fulfill a 10 item order than a 2 item order. Communicating your marketing plan to Amplifier can help us plan our production floor for speedy fulfillment.
Amplifier will generally fulfill orders in the order in which they are received, but reserves the right to ship in any order which will maximize pre-Christmas deliveries across all of Amplifier’s clients. If orders need a time definite delivery, orders must use UPS NDA, 2DA.
Because International Shipping cut-offs are earlier than Domestic, Amplifier reserves the right to fulfill Domestic Orders placed after the International Shipping cut-off prior to International Orders which would not arrive prior to 12/25 if fulfilled.
Fulfillment times during Order Spikes
When Clients experience spikes greater than 10 times their Daily Order Average, Amplifier reserves the right to ship the excess orders on the second day following the spike. If a client experiences a spike greater than 20 times their Daily Order Average, Amplifier reserves the right to ship the excess orders on the second and third days following the spike. A Client’s Daily Order Average is calculated from January 1 through October 31st.
Fulfillment times for Non-Ship-Ready and Oversize Items
Amplifier makes a best effort to ship all in-stock orders the day following their arrival. However, items in our warehouse that are not ship-ready or are oversized can take longer, especially during peaks like the Q4 holiday rush.
Backorders during Peak Season
Clients occasionally over-sell items during Peak Season order spikes. Amplifier does NOT partial ship unless explicitly instructed to do so in writing by our Clients. If you wish to set a global rule that “during X days partial ship all orders,” so that no holiday orders are held because of backordered inventory, please contact email@example.com. Note that partially shipping orders will result in at least two shipping events for the order. Any additional fulfillment and freight costs will be charged to the Client.
Inventory Safety Stock
The best way to prevent backorders is to use Amplifier’s Safety Stock Feature along with our Real-Time Inventory API. Industry average is to have 4% in lost sales due to overselling, but that doesn’t count the time it takes to answer Customer Service inquiries for Orders that can’t ship. Amplifier highly recommends minimizing this with smart Safety Stock.
