Can I ship to an address with foreign characters?

No. Carrier backend and shipping systems (including UPS) do not support foreign/double-byte (Unicode, UTF 8) characters. Only enter and submit alphanumeric characters in orders. If your order source enters and accepts foreign/double-byte (Unicode, UTF 8) characters, you must correct them manually.  Our system converts any unsupported characters to '?' to indicate the need for manual correction.

Note that many order sources allow foreign characters to be submitted. To resolve, return to the order source to retrieve the foreign character address and translate it to alphanumeric characters.  Then, use Amplifier's edit order feature to update the corresponding address in my.amplifier.com accordingly.

Check for Alerted orders on a regular basis. Replace any unsupported characters (that is, '?'s) with alphanumeric characters, both in the Shipping Address and the Billing Address.
