Shipment Fees

The Shipment Fee applies to the Shipment related to an Order. A Shipment is created when inventory related to the fulfillment of an Order is released to the shipping floor. Usually, Orders only have one Shipment, because Amplifier typically only releases inventory to the shipping floor when the entire Order can ship at one time. At the discretion of the Client, Amplifier will release part of the Orders inventory to the floor. This partial-allocation will result in multiple shipments being related to a single Order.

If an Order requires multiple shipments, the Shipment Fee will be assessed on each related Shipment.

Note: Containers are not Shipments. Shipments with a high unit count may be spread across several Containers, with each container having its own tracking number. Shipment Fees are not assessed at the Container level, so an Order with one Shipment, where that Shipment has multiple containers, will only be assessed for one Shipment Fee.

Item Fees

The Item Fee applies to the Picking Unit (or Item Unit of Measure) of the item required for the Shipment. A picking unit may be a single "each," an InnerPack containing multiple "eaches", a Case containing multiple InnerPacks or "eaches", or a Pallet, containing multiple Cases.

Standard Pricing generally applies to an "each" Picking Unit. InnerPack, Case, and Pallet pick prices are higher then the price for an "each," but lower than if all "eaches" were charged the Item Fee with a case pick. Pricing for InnerPack, Cases, and Pallets vary based on size and weight, but the general Case Pick fee is here.

Other Fees

Large Items are subject to Oversize pricing.

B2B / Vendor Compliant Shipments and fees are covered here.
